Mr. Schinski is responsible for leveraging the latest advances in technology for the most efficient operation of the wholesale power transmission system and the markets Midwest will operate. As CIO, Mr. Schinski is working with the Information Technology staff and the Midwest ISO’s stakeholders to further define, develop and implement a robust architecture and real-time technology solutions for the organization.
Mr. Schinski has more than 20 years of executive leadership, information technology and strategic planning experience, and he has achieved numerous successes in innovating and implementing advanced technology in commercial applications for multi-billion dollar organizations . As the result of Mr. Schinski’s leadership, high performance, multi-disciplined and geographically dispersed teams have designed, developed and delivered IT infrastructures and systems in support of internal clients and external customers.
Prior to joining the Midwest ISO, Mr. Schinski was the Chief Information Officer for Lockheed Martin’s Management and Data Systems Company, Systems Integration (SI) business in King of Prussia, PA, where he was responsible for technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems in support of the internal initiatives and programs of the SI line of business.
Additionally, Mr. Schinski holds two patents from the U.S. Patent Office and has received multiple awards for excellence in technology application from the U.S. government.
Mr. Schinski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University, and completed the coursework for a Master of Science degree in engineering science from Pennsylvania State University. | |
